One of my favorite desserts is key lime pie because I love custard pies with a graham cracker crust. Great for dessert, yes, but probably not the best idea for breakfast. That’s where this easy smoothie-yogurt bowl comes in. You get all the delicious flavors of key lime pie, but with more breakfast-friendly ingredients instead. The texture is decidedly more yogurt than a smoothie, but the toppings are definitely inspired by the smoothie bowl trend. Hope you like my little creation.

Key lime smoothie
Perfect replacement for the real key lime pie. Delicious, refreshing and yummy, and it looks divine 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 regular lime
- 100g frozen banana
- 100g frozen pineapple
- 50g frozen spinach
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 125g yogurt of choice
Instructions

Juice the lime and add 1 tablespoon of the juice to the blender. Add all of the other ingredients inside and blend on high speed. Blend until well combined.

Serve the bowl with extra toppings 🙂
