Is there anything better than a heavenly healthy, creamy, fudgy and divine chocolate ice cream? I don’t think so.
Ice cream obsession level: shamelessly greedy.
Hehe. I know that most of us can’t escape the ice cream call in the summer. Unfortunately, most of the ice creams out there are really high in calorie, filled with refined sugars and not dairy-free. Because of that, I came up with this idea of making my own ice cream with 5 simple ingredients.
This ice cream is:
& Seriously simple
Plus, it’s extremely customizable! Though I’ve yet to try other flavors, I can only assume that the base would work well with peanut butter, strawberries, and perhaps even dairy-free yogurt! Oh man, the possibilities are endless. I can’t wait to experiment.
So let me introduce you to this simple and divine recipe!
Double chocolate vegan ice cream
My favorite vegan chocolate ice cream! Made with almond milk, cacao powder, silken tofu and vegan protein powder. Dairy-free, healthy and so YUM!
- 3 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 100ml almond milk
- 100g silken tofu
- 1 scoop sunwarrior chocolate protein powder
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a really smooth and creamy texture.
After you blend all of the ingredients well, you can leave the ice cream in the fridge to cool a bit longer or you can add your favorite toppings and dig in 🙂
